New images from the Doctor Who Christmas Special!

BBC has released several images from the Doctor Who Christmas Special: The Return of Mysterio and they are very telling indeed.

From the looks of it, it seems that the Doctor has met the superhero  “Mysterio” (or could be G for Grant) before as a child and possibly inspire him to become a superhero, played by Justin Chatwin. The Doctor does do some sort of machinery with the young child, which could explain how Grant obtained his powers.

Of course, there is the reporter like Lois Lane (Charity Wakefield) for him to fall in love with as well. I have no idea whose baby it is in the photos, but we know it’s connected with Grant. It could be the end of the scene when the reporter and Grant fall in love and have a family – which is my best guess.

We also learn a bit about the aliens the Doctor will be dealing with. The aliens have a slash on their face and it could be given to them in that locked up room we saw in the trailer.

Other than that, the photos don’t seem to be telling me anything else. What do you think? Check out the images below and give your thoughts on what could happen.
