It seems as though late night TV can’t get enough of this guy. I mean, it’s not like he’s popular or anything, right?

In a tweet sent out Saturday, Saturday Night Live officially announced who their guest host will be, and fans are more excited than watching David Pumpkins a hundred times in a row:

Yup, the Sorcerer Supreme, himself, will be the host of SNL on November 5th. Uniquely enough, the show’s airing date is the Saturday after Cumberbatch’s film, Marvel’s Doctor Strange, debuts, so we know that there will be plenty of “getting in touch with your inner self” jokes.┬áIt honestly was only a matter of time, as Cumberbatch was probably tired of doing all those Jimmy Kimmel skits that stopped being funny long ago. I’m certain that Cumberbatch will have a great time with some other actually funny people to help create real comedy!
