It’s the month of SPOOKINESS, and the developers at Red Barrels Studio want to commemorate that by releasing a demo for its upcoming horror game Outlast 2.

As you can tell by the title, Outlast 2 is a sequel to 2013’s Outlast, a horror game which became a big hit among critics and horror fans alike. This new game is set in an entirely different area, starring Blake Langermann, another journalist who just can’t seem to get his nose out of trouble. He and his wife Lynn are looking to investigate the murder of a young, pregnant woman named Jane Doe in a desert region where things have taken a turn for the worst.

It looks like Outlast 2 won’t be a continuation of the previous game’s story, but chances are it’ll be terrifying all the same. The game was originally meant to release Fall of this year, but it was delayed to Q1 2017. This demo serves as a great appetizer for fans who were looking to play the game this year.

The demo for Outlast 2 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One up until November 1. We’re going to have a little fun with it ourselves so expect a Let’s Play video on our YouTube channel soon!

l love to play games and write stuff about them. I can't play something and not tell anyone how I feel about it. Call it a sickness, because it is.
