Marvel & Netflix announce premiere date for ‘Iron Fist’

Back in 2013, Marvel and Netflix announced a historic partnership where the comics giant would be bringing four of their street level heroes to Netflix as a series before coming together for a miniseries event, The Defenders. Hot off the heels of Luke Cage crashing Netflix’s servers over the weekend, the streaming giant and Marvel have released a short teaser announcing the release date for their final Defender, Iron Fist. Check it out!

Unfortunately, the 15-second teaser doesn’t feature any footage of Finn Jones in action as Danny Rand but it’s nice to see a date we can look forward to. However, what we do have, at least, is an image of Finn Jones in action about to punch some poor thug right in the kisser. As you can also see, that thug isn’t the only one who got his butt whipped. In the back, there are at least 10 other people that were knocked out. Check it out!

Iron Fist marks the last Netflix series before the highly-anticipated, The Defenders, where we would see Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist come together to fight some unannounced threat. Are you excited for Iron Fist? Sound off in the comments section below!

Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Iron Fist premieres all of its episodes on Netflix on March 17, 2017.
