Back in July, Sega revealed Sonic Mania during the 25th Anniversary Party, which occurred during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The game, being a huge rush of nostalgia, features three playable characters (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles) and is set to release in Spring, but it seems Sega has another surprise in store for fans of the classic series: the Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition.

Inside the Collector’s Edition are a few goodies, including a 12″ classic Sonic statue, which stands on top of a model one Sega Genesis that plays the iconic “Sega” start-up sound. It will also include a Sega Genesis cartridge cast that includes a Golden Ring, and a metallic collector’s card which includes the download key for Sonic Mania.

Everything about this set just screams ’90s nostalgia, especially the Collector’s Edition box, which features the classic iconic box art style of the Sega Genesis. The Sonic Mania Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order now from all major retailers and is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, retailing for $70 while supplies last.
