Latest Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer shows off multiplayer and Majin Vegeta
Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s multiplayer was enjoyable, but it didn’t really add anything new to the game that wasn’t already in the single-player mode already. It was just a way to complete missions faster than doing it yourself in single player, with half the time your partners letting you do all the work and trying to reap all the rewards. You’re also doing the same thing over and over again, only adding human players to fight by your side rather than the CPU, who most of the time were useless.
The latest trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was revealed at Gamescom and shows off a new element of the multiplayer battle system. It will include battles where players are transported into an alternate space to fight against dark versions of Dragonball characters and even dark versions of themselves. The trailer also showcases the abilities of each race, which could help control the tide of battle as you team up with four other players.
The end of the trailer also reveals that Majin Vegeta will be a playable character, which was a character that appeared briefly in the Majin Buu Saga of Dragon Ball Z. Also with the release of the latest Dragon Ball Super episode, will we See Goku Black transform into his new Super Saiyan Rose form?
If you want to get your hands on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 soon, the wait might not be long as Bandai Namco Entertainment also announced that an open beta will be coming soon. No details but stay tuned.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be released on October 25th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
