Supergirl to be center of CW crossover episodes

During the last season of the DC shows, we had a few crossover episodes with Supergirl, who was on CBS at the time, featuring The Flash from the CW (as well as Constantine from CBS going to CW’s Arrow). As expected, we are now going to have Supergirl cross over into the Flarrowverse in a way that incorporates not only Supergirl and The Flash, but also the teams from Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

During Comic-Con, Mark Guggenheim stated, “It’s an external threat from outside the shows that will involve Supergirl coming over to The Flash, then Arrow then Legends of Tomorrow.”

“It’s all going to kick off with an epic battle between the Justice Society and the Legends,” he said. “It’s required that every time there’s more than one superhero in any place at any given time, they have to fight. We’re honoring that rule and that tradition straight out of the gate.”

We know based on the finale of Legends of Tomorrow that Rex Tyler was introduced, Albert Einstein was mentioned, and they have cast the role of Citizen Steel who are all member of The Justice Society, and that they will be traveling back to the 1940s. Maybe we will see some golden age Green Lantern or other favorites, but it would be a great way to kick off the seasons as they get more exciting as they crossover.
