FX ‘X-Men’ spin-off series, Legion, trailer is a bit crazy

FX has released their trailer to the new series Legion, based on the Marvel X-Men comics.

The show will deal with mutants, but one mutant in particular. David Haller (Dan Stevens) is a young mutant who is dealing with schizophrenia and mania. He is locked up in a psych ward, but soon finds out that these visions and voices may be real. Those who follow the comics, David aka Legion is the son of Professor Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller in 1985’s New Mutants.

The series also stars Aubrey Plaza as David’s alcoholic, druggie friend, Jean Smart, Katie Aselton, and Bill Irwin. X-Men’s Lauren Schuler Donner, Bryan Singer, and Simon Kinberg serve as executive producers.

The series is set to premiere in 2017 on FX.
