Everybody Wants Some!!: Tyler Hoechlin on Superman role in CW’s Supergirl and Juston Street on his role

The year is 1980, we’re in Texas, and a young doe-eyed freshman named Jake is moving into a college baseball house, joining his teammates on a wild romp through the first weekend of freshman year before classes begin on Monday. That is the premise of Richard Linklater’s “spiritual sequel” to Dazed and Confused, Everybody Wants Some!!, which is now available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Over the weekend, I got to interview some of the lovable cast members of the film and had a little bit of fun with them.

With the film is released on Blu-ray and DVD today, I recently sat down Tyler Hoechlin and Juston Street and was able to talk about a variety of things with them. They talked about the chemistry of the cast on set, what Juston’s character meant by his line “Check your pillows, man,” what Tyler’s iteration of Clark Kent/Superman is going to be like, and who Juston’s character was inspired by. You can check out my interview with Glen Powell and J. Quinton Johnson by clicking here. You can also check out the movie trivia game I played by clicking here.

If you haven’t checked out the film yet, I highly recommend it because it’s the type of entertaining film that’ll have you missing the fun times that you had in college.

A “spiritual sequel” to Dazed and Confused set in the world of 1980 college life, Everybody Wants Some is a comedy that follows a group of friends as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood. Get ready for the best weekend ever.

Everybody Wants Some!! is now available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
