Jared Leto is an actor who likes to be engrossed in his role. Since he’s playing the Joker in Suicide Squad, he has taken on the crazy mentality by sending his co-stars absurd gifts like a used condom, rats, a dead pig, anal beads, and etc. Now we have Viola Davis, who plays Amanda Waller, talking about how she was a bit scared about her gift from Leto. What did she get? A box of bullets.

“We all got gifts from Jared. I got bullets, in a box,” Davis told E! Online.

Davis wasn’t able to meet Leto out of character until a Glamour Magazine Awards. She said that a part of her wanted to spray him with pepper spray in jest.

“Before that I was only introduced to The Joker. There was a part of me that wanted to say, and have my pepper spray out, you remember that bullet you sent me?,” she said jokingly. “He was completely committed.”

She talks about how she’s pretty tough, but the prank made her feel troubled.

“It was a little worrisome,” Davis said. “It made you a little bit nervous and I’m pretty tough. You know I got into a few fights when I was growing up… but it scared me a little bit.”

She did have some “nice” things to say about Leto and the rest of the cast.

“Every single person in [Suicide Squad] gets to be completely insane because all the characters are insane. They’re bad guys, we’re all bad guys.”

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
