Persona 5 won’t see a Western release until February 2017

When Persona 5 was delayed to make some improvements, we thought we’d see a worldwide release later this year. Well sorry to break the news, but North America and Europe fans will have to wait even longer for the game’s release. Atlus has revealed the game will be coming out on February 14, 2017, with the European date still yet to be announced.

That’s right it will be released on Valentine’s Day, so what better to celebrate the day than ignoring your significant other and enjoying the game, unless they also like to join. If that isn’t enough to sway you, Atlus also revealed two exclusive editions that are available to pre-order now.

Pre-ordering the game now will upgrade you to the Steelbook Launch edition of the game. This will also be available in limited quantities to those who pick up the game on day one.

The “Take Your Heart Premium Edition” was also revealed for the PlayStation 4 version, which includes a 64-Hardcover Artbook, 4″ Morgana Plush, Persona 5 Soundtrack that features a selection of music from Persona 5 by legendary series composer Shoji Meguro in a CD wallet featuring P5 artwork, a copy of the game inside a steelbook case, and an exclusive replica bag comes complete with the Shujin Academy crest. It’s worth the extra $30 for all the extras if you are thinking about picking up the game.

Persona 5 will be released on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
