The Power Rangers movie has been one of the most talked about upcoming films in the nerd community. Production well underway in Vancouver Canada and people can possibly expect something at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. But what might be the biggest surprise is that Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer, who has already seen pieces of the film, has stated that, “we are really really excited about the ‘Power Rangers’ movie. We could see doing five or six or seven,”

This definitely seems plausible considering the multiple generations of Rangers as well as introducing pivotal characters to the Power Rangers mythos like the Green/White Ranger, Tommy Oliver.

Power Rangers will be a reimagining based on the hit TV show that has been on for over 20 years. It will follow a group of high-school kids, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world. The cast will star Elizabeth Banks, Naomi Scott, Becky G, Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler, and Ludi Lin.
