Marvel has done great with its Netflix series like Daredevil and Jessica Jones. We’ve got Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders on the horizon, with news of Punisher getting his own series.

There have been rumors that Marvel and Netflix will be working on bringing Ghostrider, Moon Knight and Blade to the streaming platform, and fans have been excited about the possibilities. A certain actor caught wind of the rumor, and that’s Wesley Snipes, who played the vampire hunter in the Blade Trilogy films, with the first one releasing in 1998. The actor has shown on Twitter that he’s interested in reprising his role as the kickass anti-hero.

Odds are if the show does go to Netflix, we’ll be seeing a new Daywalker. For example, Spike TV’s Blade: The Series featured a new actor playing Blade back in 2006. However, that show was canceled after the first season, reportedly due to high production cost.

Maybe Marvel and Netflix can bring him in to play another role? Like a father figure to the new Blade? CW’s The Flash was able to bring in John Wesley Shipp, who played the ’90s Flash, and CBS’s Supergirl was able to bring in Dean Cain, who played Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, and Hen Slater, who played Supergirl in the 1984 Supergirl movie.

Would you like to see Wesley Snipes return as the Daywalker?
