Capcom has just posted an update on its blog stating that pre-orders for its upcoming multiplayer shooter, set in the Resident Evil universe, have gone live.

Users can pre-order the game for PS4 or PC (via Steam) and have the option of purchasing a digital deluxe version of the game ahead of the game’s June 21st launch.

A new trailer was also included in the blog post which details a new map, set in Raccoon City (of Resident Evil 2 and 3 fame) and details the game’s various modes that will be available at launch. You can check out the trailer below.

From the information in the posting, the digital deluxe edition will feature an additional piece of contact called ‘Upgrade Pack’ which contains additional cosmetic options that will allow you to play as iconic characters from the Resident Evil franchise.

The standard version of the game is set at a price of $29.99, with the digital deluxe edition available for an extra $10. The Upgrade Pack can be purchased separately for $14.99.

There is also an additional pack available for anyone who pre-orders the game. The “Fashion Victim Pack” allows users to customize the color of their weapons and armor. Capcom has also said that PS4 owners who pre-order the game will receive a “dynamic custom theme featuring sounds, music, icons, and other artwork from Umbrella Corps.”

Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps will be available on PS4 and PC on June 21st.
