Lucasfilm’s Pablo Hidalgo says Star Wars’ Snoke isn’t Darth Plagueis

Star-Wars-Force-Awakens-Snoke-Leader

There’s a popular Star Wars theory out there saying that Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is actually Darth Plagueis, the former master to Darth Sidious, aka the Emperor. Andy Serkis, who portrayed the sinister villain, has said that the theory is false. Now we have Pablo Hidalgo, Creative Executive of the Lucasfilm Story Group that’s responsible for Star Wars continuity, also confirming that the theory isn’t true.

Yeah, the fans really want to believe that Darth Plagueis really is Supreme Leader Snoke, even when Hidalgo has already said that he’s dead. The fans respond by trying to dissect his words as if he was trying to find a loophole around it, as you can see below.

I guess fans will have to keep on guessing until Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters next year.
