British stars have a Hamlet-Off for Shakespeare Live!

In honor of the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon, British stars, who have performed in the great works of the playwright in London, came together to pronounce the correct way of Hamlet’s ‘To be or not to be’ soliloquy.

Benedict Cumberbatch, David Tennant, Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, Tim Minchin, Dame Harriet Walter, Rory Kinnear, and Prince Charles are attempting to teach the RSC’s current Hamlet, Paapa Essiedu, the correct way to perform the iconic monologue. It’s hilarious, especially when Minchin mistakes Cumberbatch as Eddie Redmayne. Prince Charles, being royalty and all, was given the last word.
