SNK Playmore is on a roll. Not only is it releasing the King of Fighters XIV later this year, but the company has big plans for a lot of its older titles too.

The Last Blade 2 might be a title you may have never heard of. It was an excellent fighter that was released arcades back in 1998, and later saw a release for the Dreamcast in 2001 and on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console in 2012. The game will be released on May 24th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and will include cross-save support .

The game was a mix of Samurai Showdown and King of Fighters with a cast of 18 selectable characters. The game lets you select between three different modes: Power, Speed and Extreme, each one giving you a boost in battle. Players can also use the repel mechanic to keep their opponents at bay and set up for Super Secret Slash, Hidden Secret Slash, and Enigma Frenzy Attack ultimate techniques.
