Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates may sound like a cheesy title, but the cast and creative team are anything but. Zac Efron, Aubrey Plaza, Adam DeVine, Anna Kendrick star in the film written by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, the scribes behind the hit comedy Neighbors. Fox premiered a slightly extended version of the red band trailer that you can see below.

After the trailer premiere, a clip from the film was shown:

The clip opens with Jeanie Stangle (Sugar Lyn Beard) going to the hotel spa to get a massage. Alice (Anna Kendrick) stops the masseuse (“Silicon Valley’s” Kumail Nanjiani) and asks if he can “help her get loose.” The masseuse is confused as to what she is talking about but after a while, you find out that he’s just playing along. He knows exactly what she’s talking about and he’s done this before. He tells Alice that he will give her the special treatment and that it will not require “any penetration.”

The masseuse enters the room, begins to disrobe, and put oil all over his body. “I’ll be putting on hot body lubricant… Which sounds so much better in my language,” he said. Unbeknownst to her, he gets on top of her naked and we begin to see the start of a preposterously raunchy naked massage. Each scene he begins to pleasure her – without penetrating her – by using various massage techniques like “The Bent Penguin” and “The Angry Dolphin.” “The souls meet where the holes meet,” he says as he’s swinging from the ceiling, touching butts in the process.

Suddenly, we see Mike Stangle going through the massage rooms looking for his sister. Once he finds the right room then hilarity ensues. Mike is disgusted that the naked masseuse is giving his sister an orgasm. “Get the f*ck out,” she screams at him as she comes.

Seeing the beautiful Aubrey Plaza and the beautiful Anna Kendrick getting crazy together is such a delight to see. Overall, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates looks to be a laugh-out-loud riot of a film. It’s crazy to think that the film is (loosely) based on a true story.

Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates hits theaters on July 8th.
