Blizzard has confirmed the release date for World of Warcraft’s newest expansion pack, titled ‘Legion’. The expansion will release on August 30, 2016, and will feature a new Demon Hunter class, as well as new areas, items, raids, and an increased level cap of 100.

As a reward for those that pre-order the game, players will have the option to boost one of their characters immediately to level 100, and will also gain access to the new Demon Hunter class ahead of Legion’s release.

As with previous expansions, there are also multiple ways to buy Legion. The standard version will retail at $49.99, but there will also be a digital deluxe edition for $69.99 that comes with additional loot and bonuses for a host of Blizzard’s other titles detailed below. There is also a retail collector’s edition available for $89.99.

⦁ Illidari Felstalker mount, and pet, for World of Warcraft
⦁ Felstalker mount for Heroes of the Storm
⦁ Wings, and an exclusive helmet transmogrification for Diablo 3
⦁ Two additional portraits for StarCraft 2

Again, as with previous expansions, the retail collector’s edition will include all of the digital bonuses, hardcover art-book, a two-disc ‘making of’ Blu-ray/DVD set, CD soundtrack, a mouse pad, and will come in a huge themed box of course.
