Square Enix confirms Romancing Saga 2 to release in the West

The Super Nintendo (or Super Famicom as it’s known in Japan) released so many great RPGs back in the days, but not all of them ever saw a release in the West due to companies not thinking it would do well in the Western market. One of those series was Squaresoft’s (before it became Square Enix) Romancing Saga. While the original Saga games were released in North America under the title Final Fantasy Legend, the Romancing series just never got the attention it deserved, at least until 2005 when Square Enix released the PS2 remake of the first title.

Luckily Romancing Saga 2 will finally see a release in the West as Square Enix tweeted. The game was released for iOS and Android devices and the PlayStation Vita. No date has been announced but Square Enix states that it will have more information later this month.
