New live-action Street Fighter: Resurrection trailer is out

If you haven’t had the chance to check out Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, you should do so now. Based on the Street Fighter video games, it focused on Ken and Ryu’s origin as they practice to become the best fighters in the world. Now director Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum, Snow White and the Huntsman) is returning to bring us a sequel featuring the return of Mike Moh (Empire) as Ryu and Christian Howard (The World’s End) as Ken.

Machinima has released the new trailer for the four-episode, live-action miniseries that is based on the Street Fighter V video game. Check it out below.

The miniseries also stars Alain Moussi (Suicide Squad, X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Charlie Nash and features Bat in the Sun‘s Amy Johnston and YouTuber Terroriser.

In Resurrection, heroes Ken and Ryu are reunited to face an ominous new threat. Charlie Nash is back, and targeting legendary Street Fighter champions in a mysterious mission. After a violent confrontation with Nash, Ryu and Ken must uncover his lethal plan and find out if he is friend or foe. As events speed toward a showdown in London with the resurgent Shadaloo cartel, covert forces battle for global supremacy with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.

Street Fighter: Resurrection is produced by World Warrior Limited with Machinima Studios, and in association with Capcom.

Street Fighter: Resurrection will be available exclusively on go90 March 15, 2016.
