Fox pulls Gambit release date and adds two mystery Marvel movies

The Gambit film has been such a roller coaster ride so far with so many changes that continue to happen. There was the original director (Rupert Wyatt from Rise of the Planet of the Apes) dropping out, then Edge of Tomorrow’s Doug Liman taking up the reigns, and let’s not forget finding out Channing Tatum being chosen as the main actor, but then almost dropping out. We can see that it’s been nothing short of drama, and it seems things will continue this way. Fox has now pulled the October 7, 2016 release date for the film, and at the same time, added two mystery Marvel projects.

Now, the new release dates that they’ve secured are October 6, 2017 and January 12, 2018. The first date is almost exactly a year from when Gambit was supposed to come out this year. Could that be the new release date, giving more time to accommodate to Tatum’s already packed shooting schedule? I believe that sounds fair. As for the other date, what film could it be? I think it’s either the Deadpool sequel or the X-Force¬†movie. It’s going to be real interesting to see what happens in the coming months. What Marvel films do you think Fox is working on?
