We already know most of the Netflix and Marvel leading actors like Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones and Mike Colter as Luke Cage, but who’s going to be Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist?

EW has reported that Finn Jones, who played Ser Loras Tyrell in HBO’s Game of Thrones, will be playing Iron Fist in the upcoming Marvel and Netflix series.

Danny Rand became the martial arts superhero known as Iron Fist during his travels to the mystical city of K’un-Lun. In addition to having superior strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, reflexes and senses, he also uses his family’s wealth to help the needy in New York City.

The Netflix series will follow Daniel Rand’s return to New York City after he went missing for years. (This reminds me of a similar setup with The CW’s Arrow Season 1.) He will fight the criminals plaguing New York City.

Scott Buck (Dexter, Six Feet Under, Rome) will be the showrunner and executive producer for Marvel’s Iron Fist. He was the showrunner for the final four seasons of Dexter.

Marvel’s Iron Fist is the fourth original series from Marvel Television and Netflix. Daredevil Season 2 will premiere on March 18th with Luke Cage premering later this year. This will all lead up to the mini-series event Marvel’s The Defenders.
