Shane Black reveals new Predator image and possible title

Shane Black is attached as the writer and director for the upcoming Predator movie. The director has said that he will continue on with the mythology by not making it a reboot. Will it follow the events of Alien vs. Predator? Perhaps it’ll be a direct sequel to Predator 2? Hopefully we’ll find out soon enough.

The official Predator Facebook page has teased an image today for the new movie with the caption: Here we go again, bro.

The tagline in the image reads: You’ll never see him coming.

Hmmm, that phrase is very similar to The Mandarin’s phrase in Iron Man 3, a film that’s also directed by Black.

The Predator is looking intimidating and deadly, and it seems like the actual title will be The Predator.

Here’s a little trivia. This isn’t the first time Black was involved in a Predator project. He played Hawkins in the first Predator film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and had a hand in the script.

Some might have reservations about the director since he pissed off fans with Iron Man 3 and the portrayal of The Mandarin. Let’s hope the Predator’s secret identity isn’t going to be Trevor Slattery.
