New Final Fantasy XV character revealed, plus reveal event happening in March

Square Enix revealed that it will be holding a special Final Fantasy XV event on March 30th in Los Angeles, California, called Final Fantasy Uncovered. The event will finally reveal the long-awaited release date for FFXV, which was first shown all the way back in 2006 when it was originally known as Versus XIII.

The event will be opened to the public with fans being able to RSVP for tickets starting February 5th at 4:00 P.M. PT while they last. The event will take place at The Shrine Auditorium in Hollywood on March 30th at 7:00 P.M. PST and will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch for those who can’t attend. There will be “major announcements and surprises.”

Square Enix also uploaded a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV, which shows Noctus and his group inside the Niflheim base. The battle system has evolved after all the fan feedback and introduces a new character, Aranea Highwind.

Aranea is the commander of Niflheim’s Third Army Corps 87th Airborne Division and is a “skilled aerial combatant known as ‘Dragoon’ within the Imperial military.”
