Rock Howard to be playable in King of Fighters XIV?
SNK Playmore has recently posted new images from King of Fighters XIV. These images included the newest character additions like Benimaru Nikaido, K, and Robert Garcia. However, there’s another image, one from Garou: Mark of the Wolves (released in 1999), which shows Rock Howard and Marco Rodriguez (known as Khushnood Butt in the US version).
The image could be a teaser that one or both characters could be joining the cast of King of Fighters XIV.Rock Howard, the son of Geese Howard, has been a fan-favorite ever since he first appeared in
Rock Howard, the son of Geese Howard, has been a fan-favorite ever since he first appeared in Mark of the Wolves. He has also been playable in other titles such as Capcom vs Snk 2, Neo Geo Battle Colosseum, King of Fighters Maximum Impact 1 and 2 but hasn’t appeared in any titles since. (He did, however, make a cameo in previous KoF titles as part of Terry’s winning pose but as a young kid.)
Marco could easily join as a member of the Art of Fighting team. In the Garou storyline, he was an apprentice of Ryo Sakazaki, and Mark of the Wolves was the only game he was ever playable as.
It wouldn’t be the first time Garou characters would appear in the main King of Fighters game. These included Gato, Tizoc, B. Jenet, and Hotaru Futaba (who was an exclusive character for the PS2 version of King of Fighters XI), and having Marco would be a very welcomed addition.
