Lupe Fiasco could possibly face Daigo Umehara in Street Fighter V
The Internet is a beautiful thing. It puts us in touch with the celebrities we once thought were beyond the common population.
Last night, the game lineup announcement took place last night on Twitch.tv. A series of tweets asking what Lupe thought about certain games happened. What began as mere smack talk from Lupe Fiasco about Marvel vs Capcom has blossomed into the exhibition match of the year with the music superstar facing off against fighting game legend Daigo Umehara in Street Fighter.
? you have to remember one thing about Lupe …what I can do in the game I can also do in real life. #SF4Real https://t.co/rbcyk7aqh0

Mark Julio, MadCatz’s sponsorship manager and prolific member of the Fighting Game Community, hopped onto the conversation with the possibility of setting up a match between the two.
@LupeFiasco hi, I'm Mark with Mad Catz. How about a session to go ham on SFV with our man Daigo? I'll bring the sticks. Let me know.

And just like that, Lupe seems to be on board?
Let the training begin. #LupeVsDaigo @MarkMan23

One thing to note is that this isn’t OFFICIALLY confirmed yet, but with the way things are progressing I’m looking forward to EVO 2016.
At least Lupe seems serious at this point.
Any place in #Dallas that sells fight sticks? pic.twitter.com/aktzm02uT6
