CES 2016: IOGEAR gaming gadgets

Iogear has been around in the industry for many years, but in 2016 we will see its Kaliber gaming division start to show off even more really cool peripherals to enhance your gaming experience. Featured above is their Convert headphones. This universal headset works for all consoles and mobile devices and includes a PS4 and PC headset adapter which also adds extra ways to mute and alter volume while playing. The Convert also has a detachable boom mic that once removed allows the headset to be used for phone calls as well. Finally they boast a respectable audio quality for fans on a budget with a price tag of $59.95 and will be available in Q1 of 2016.

Here are a few of Kaliber’s keyboard. The main one to keep an eye out for is the HVER Aluminum Gaming Keyboard and Fokus mouse. This keyboard and mouse are even more gorgeous in person. The keyboard features 26 anti-ghosting keys to prevent those hated missed keystrokes. It also has a 3 color LED back-light which allows you to change the color palette and to adjust brightness to your liking. The HVER will launch later this year in gray with black keys and a limited edition Imperial White with black aluminum and white keys. The HVER will be available in Q1 of 2016 and retail for just $39.95.

The Fokus Pro Laser Mouse was designed with professional gaming for both lefties and righties in mind. It boasts an Avago 9800 laser sensor combined with an adjustable Dpi all the way up to 8200. The mouse is comfortable and also features 8 programmable buttons with 5 modes and another 8 macros for each button. It also features RGB lighting effects and will be released at $49.99 during Q1 2016.

This little guy is actually an older product but was new to me. Essentially you plug it into your PS4 and it allows you to use a mouse and keyboard to control your favorite games. For those console FPS, RTS and MMO fans, this is a great addition to your peripheral line up. The Keymander is bit pricey but is currently available and retails for $99.95.

These little guys were announced at CES 2016 and may not look like much. However the professional mouse mat is of good quality, made with textured waterproof and is fully stitched to prevent peeling and works with both optic and laser mouse types. The mouse matt will retail for $9.95 and will only set you back a measly $10. What a steal.

Right beside the mouse mat is the mouse bungee which I for one believe is awesome. The bungee is a tool to helps manage cords and allows gamers to reduce/eliminate excess cable length to keep at least that part of their desk neat. It also removes cable drag and in turn increases mouse movement for enhanced freedom when playing games or just working with your mouse in general. The bungee mouse will also release at $9.95.

Iogear has more accessories coming out and most are at an extremely affordable rate for remarkable quality. A majority of its products will be released in Q1 of 2016 and can be ordered directly from the site and other stores.
