Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End pushed back to April 26, 2016

Naughty Dog has been pushing back the release date for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End for the PlayStation 4. It was supposed to be released in 2015 but was pushed back to March 18, 2016. Now it’s being pushed back again. Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley have announced that the game will come out on April 26, 2016 via Sony’s Blog. They admit that the game still needs more work since they want it to be a great experience for the last adventure for Nathan Drake.

“This is our largest Uncharted game to date, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game’s development in a timely manner. However, as we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line. After carefully considering all of our options, we decided to extend our schedule, making sure that we get a few more polish passes before submitting our gold master (the final disc for manufacturing).”

Take the time, guys, because the Uncharted series has been great so far and I know many fans have faith in the finished product.
