Idea Factory International announces at the PlayStation Experience

Right before the PlayStation Experience, Idea Factory International held their second press event in San Francisco complete with special Neptunia-themed drinks, demos, special announcements and special guests including CEO President Haru Akenaga and Masahiro Yamamoto, the director of Trillion: God of Destruction.

With playable builds of MegaDimension Neptunia VII, Trillion on hand there was one PS Vita system set up but not turned on, leaving us to suspect one of two Neptunia spin-offs, Blanc + Neptune vs. Zombie Army or Super Dimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls which released in Japan just a few weeks ago, but we figured it made more sense to be Blanc + Neptune vs. Zombie Army.

Not long ago, IFI also announced the Limited Edition of Megadimension Neptunia VII would include a sticker skin for PlayStation 4 consoles. This was the first time it was on display (and also appeared at the IFI PS Experience booth for fans to see).

After some drinks and socializing with other members of the press at event, IFI’s PR team took the stage and showed off a new English trailer for Neptunia VII (V-2) which will releasing early next year, showcasing the three different stories, new characters, new enemies plus a look at the CPU Goddesses ‘Next’ form, followed by a trailer for Trillion: God of Destruction followed by a few words from Masahiro Yamamoto.

Next were a few new announcements of games IFI will release in 2016.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is coming to the West in Spring 2016. An enhanced version of last year’s PlayStation 3 release made exclusively for the PlayStation 4, Advent Dark Force will include six playable characters in battle, along with three new story paths: the Goddess story, the Vile God story, and the Evil God story, each path will lead to a different outcome, giving players something to look forward to.

Also coming in Spring 2016 is one title we did expect, Megatagmension Blanc + Neptune Vs Zombie.

Developed by Tamsoft, who previously worked on Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed, Blanc vs the Zombies will put Blanc in the lead role as she teams up with the other characters of the series to face off against a horde of zombies after a great evil has been awoken.

And for the final announcements, we learned that Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed, Hyperdevotion Noire Goddess Black Heart and Monster Monpiece will be coming to Steam in 2016 as well.

We also learned that Monster Monpiece will be released uncensored for Steam, which was one thing that fans weren’t too happy with, as the PS Vita version of the game had to have certain images edited or removed due to ESRB issues.

It was a fun event in the end with a few special faces in attendance, and great to see some more great titles coming from IFI.
