Final Fantasy illustrator Yoshitaka Amano announced as guest for Anime Expo 2016

Anime Expo 2016 is still eight months away and is already starting off strong with the announcement of Japanese artist, character designer, and illustrator Yoshitaka AmanoAmano is probably best known for his work in the Final Fantasy video game franchise, where he been a character designer, title logo designer, and image illustrator for the Final Fantasy series.

Amano started his career at a young age working at Tatsunoko Production, where he helped create some of the most iconic series in Japan including Speed Racer, Gatchaman, and Tekkaman: The Space Knight. After becoming a freelance artist, he would later go to work on Demon City Shinjuku and Vampire Hunter D.

This will be Amano’s first time attending Anime Expo, and something I look forward to being a part of and possibly getting my The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy artbook signed!
