Star Wars: The Force Awakens display and laser lightsaber show at El Capitan Theatre Hollywood

If you’re in the Los Angeles area and are a big fan of Star Wars, then you should definitely check out El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood from December 18, 2015 – February 7, 2016. The theatre will have an exclusive display for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. You’ll get to see costumes and props from the movie and before the movie there will be a Laser Lightsaber Curtain Show.

There will also be a Star Wars marathon presented by Nerdist Industries on December 17th. (The sad news is that it’s already sold out.) Those who got tickets will get to see all six movies before watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens. They’ll receive a Star Wars lanyard, commermorative souvenir ticket, collectible BB-8 button, Subway sandwich, treats and more.

Daily showtimes are 9:45 a.m., 12:55 p.m., 4:05 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. with additional showtimes on opening weekend.

If you want to upgrade, you can get the VIP Comic Book Admission Ticket that includes reserved seating, popcorn in a souvenir tub, a 20 oz. bottled drink and a choice of two variant covers exclusive to the El Capitan Theatre. (The 2 exclusive variant cover designs of Star Wars Vader Down #1 comic book from either Todd Nauck or Michael Walsh.)

There will also be an exclusive Cosplay and Cocktails event following the 7:15pm showing on select dates. Attendees at those events will get to see cosplay, drink beer and/or wine, eat hors d’oeuvres and take souvenir photographs. You’ll need to buy both the movie ticket and the Cosplay and Cocktails event ticket.
