Connor Hawke coming to the Arrowverse

According to, they’ve confirmed with Warner Brothers that Connor Hawke will be coming to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. They found this through, which reported the casting of “an African-American or biracial male who decides to put on the uniform of a missing hero who once stood for justice and hope.” This led to the uncovering of Connor Hawke for Episode 6, who won’t be the son of Oliver Queen and Sandra Hawke.

If you have heard our podcast about both The Flash and Arrow, we have discussed the possibility of different characters coming out of the 52 wormholes from the multiverse. It would make sense that a future version of Connor Hawke came through and was possibly the son of Diggle. I say this assuming that Oliver trained him after a presumptuous death of Diggle, since it did tease a death in the season premiere of Arrow.

Although Legends of Tomorrow doesn’t have an exact release date, we can expect it around the beginning of 2016.

Legends of Tomorrow focuses on time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter, who has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time. The team consists of Firestorm, The Atom, White Canary, Rip Hunter, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Hawkgirl, and Hawkman.

Connor Hawke is a fictional DC Comics superhero who operated as the second Green Arrow and is the son of Oliver Queen, the original Green Arrow, and his former girlfriend Sandra Hawke. Following the Flashpoint crossovers and New 52 reboot, Connor appears in Earth 2, a series set in a parallel universe to the main “Prime Earth” DC continuity, and is an operative of the World Army under the alias Red Arrow.
