PlayStation 4 gets $50 price cut starting this month

The PlayStation 4 system has had the $399.99 price point since it first debuted in November 2013. With a lot of great titles available and coming out this holiday season, Sony revealed that the system will be receiving a price cut of $50. It will go into effect on October 9th!

It’s not just North America, as Japan revealed a price drop at Tokyo Game Show which takes effect on October 30th. Canada will also see a price drop from $449.99 CAD to $429.99 CAD. The price drop will also affect the upcoming PS4 bundles coming for the holidays.
