The story trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III‘s single-player campaign has officially been released today and it is…interesting to say the least. This may be the third game in Treyarch’s Black Ops series, but it is the fourth game to continue the story that began with 2008’s Call of Duty: World at War.

Black Ops III takes place in 2065, 40 years after the events of Black Ops II, where technological advancements have given soldiers robotic enhancements to their body and mind. What’s most intriguing about this story trailer is that the technology implanted in the protagonist’s brain will take over his mind and things won’t appear as they seem.

To get an idea of what I’m talking about, just watch the trailer below.

Crazy right? Did you see that WWII tank? I don’t get it either. Unfortunately, the campaign won’t be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 users. PS4, Xbox One, and PC users will get to experience both the single and multiplayer when the game launches on November 6, 2015.

Also, is that Christopher Meloni? Let’s hope he doesn’t hump a fridge this time (that’s a Wet Hot American Summer reference to you, youngster).

l love to play games and write stuff about them. I can't play something and not tell anyone how I feel about it. Call it a sickness, because it is.
