Spider-Man scene already filmed for Captain America: Civil War

Marvel made the announcement that Tom Holland was going to portray Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There were a lot of reports indicating that he was going to debut in Captain America: Civil War, and now we have the Spider-Man reboot writers confirming it.

In an interview with Vulture, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who both directed and wrote Vacation and are writing the upcoming Spidey flick, have said that they’re going to Marvel Studios this weekend to check out the Spider-Man cameo footage in Captain America: Civil War.

“We hear good things,” Goldstein said. “We might even get to look at the Spidey suit, which is exciting.”

As for the cast list rumor surfacing online, since Goldstein said, “We’ve discussed certain characters, but nothing is certain yet, for sure.”

The Spider-Man reboot will be directed by Jon Watts and will be released in theaters on July 28, 2017. Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
