There’s a rumor that Mark Hamill has already did the Joker voice work for the upcoming DC animated film based on Batman: The Killing Joke. The actor has expressed interest in being in the direct-to-video movie, and now we have iconic Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Arkham series) also wanting to be a part of the project.

During an interview with ComicBook.com promoting Netflix’s Turbo Fast, Conroy shared his excitement about wanting to team up with Hamill again.

“There’s an online petition to have us do it!” Conroy exclaimed.

“Oh, God! Are you kidding me? I’d do it in a heartbeat,” Conroy said. “I love working with him. I couldn’t believe when they killed off The Joker. I would love to do it, and I hope that that happens.”

The Killing Joke featured the origin of the Joker that actually didn’t reveal much at all. The origin stories were hinted at being fabricated, so the reader isn’t sure what’s real and what’s fake.

The Batman: The Killing Joke animated movie is expected to be available in 2016.
