The Sandman movie moves from Warner Bros. to New Line


The upcoming Sandman movie, which is based on the Vertigo comic from Neil Gaiman, is being produced by David S. Goyer (Blade trilogy, The Dark Knight trilogy) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception). According to TheWrap‘s source, the movie project will be moving from Warner Bros. to its younger¬†sister studio, New Line Cinema.

Vertigo, under the DC Comics banner, features many known comic properties including Constantine and Preacher.

Preacher is currently under production and stars Dominic Cooper as Reverend Jesse Custer. The series will be premiering on AMC in 2016.

Constantine has been cancelled by NBC.
