New Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 teaser for Nightmare Foxy

Scott has just posted another teaser image for the next Five Nights at Freddy’s game. It was late last month when Scott began to systematically release teaser of the new Freddy, Bonnie and Chica. Many fans suspected that the next animatronic revealed would be Foxy The Pirate and it appears they were right. Much like the other characters, Foxy has an even more terrifying redesign.

Unlike his other nightmare friends, Foxy does not have the phrase “was it me?” in his promotional picture. The phrase first began when the image of Nightmare Bonnie was release and it continued after with Chica. Foxy’s picture is a little different as it says “Or me?” So far it is unclear what the pictures are referencing to, but there have been some theories. Some believe that the picture are making a reference to “The Bite of ’87.”

During the first game, “The Phone Guy” reveals that one of the animatronics bit one of the costumers at the Pizzeria.

“Uhh… they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too, but then there was The Bite of ’87. Yeah. I-It’s amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?”

It was never reveal which animatronic was responsible for the attack, but many believe it to be Foxy. Some claim that the reason why his jaw appears to be broken in the first game is because it was dislocated when it bit the customer. Of course this was never proven and it is only a theory.

Also it’s worth nothing that when the brightness is changed on the image, it does not say “Nightmare” like the other pictures, but “Out of Order.” Out of order is what is printed on the sign in front of Pirate Cover, where it prominently stays in most of the first game. It is unclear what this could be referencing to at this time.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 4: The Last Chapter will be release on October 31st later this year.
