The Ratchet & Clank movie to release in 2016

Ratchet & Clank 2016

We have a new release date for the Ratchet & Clank movie, and it’s April 26, 2016.

Last year during E3 we got a small preview of the movie as well as some tidbits of an upcoming game, but we now have a set release date for the movie.

The voice actors for Ratchet, Clank, Nefarious and Captain Qwark will remain the same and that should make fans happy. The starring roles will be played by James Arnold Taylor and David Kaye, but fans may also recognize other new voice actors as well, such as Paul Giamatti as Chairman Drek, John Goodman as Ratchet’s mechanic mentor Grimroth, Rosario Dawson as Galactic Ranger Elaris, and Sylvester Stallone as Victor Von Ion, Chairman Drek’s villainous lieutenant.

Fans don’t just have the movie to look forward to either, as Insomniac has also been working on a re-release of the original Ratchet & Clank for PS4. Insomniac team has been at work adding new content for the game’s re-release. Both the movie and game should launch in 2016. With E3 2015 only a few weeks away maybe we’ll see a bit more details or maybe some game play, but who knows.
