Director J.J. Abrams also shared his thoughts about the remains of Jar Jar Binks, an alien character that was despised by many from the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

“I have a thought about putting Jar Jar Binks’s bones in the desert there. I’m serious! Only three people will notice, but they’ll love it,” said Abrams.

As for Lupita Nyong’o, she wore a mo-cap suit and said that her fans might not recognize her in the film.

We’ve all heard rumors about Harrison Ford’s thoughts on the Star Wars films, but Abrams shares this interesting tidbit.

“[Ford] was excited to get back in those shoes again, which was really interesting because I thought he hadn’t been a fan. I kept hearing those rumors when I was a kid,” the director said. “I knew that he had done in some movies a kind of more growly thing, and I didn’t want Han to be growly.” He added, “There was a fire in his eyes that you see in the movie.”
