It’s Star Wars Day with May the Fourth, and there have been many news today on the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie including a new on-set video, images, Jar Jar Binks’ death, Adam Driver playing Kylo Ren, Gwendoline Christie playing Captain Phasma and more. Now we have rumor that the next Star Wars spin-off after Rogue One will feature an origin story for everybody’s favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett, according to The Wrap.

It has been rumored before that we would be getting a Boba Fett film. One of them included actor Michael Fassbender as the bounty hunter.

The Mandalorian has made an appearance in many of the Star Wars films. We’ve got a glimpse of his origin in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and the site says that we’ll get to see how he rises to become a notorious bounty hunter.

The second Star Wars spin-off movie was supposed to have Josh Trank direct, but he left the project. Rumor has it that he was a difficult person to work with, and writer/producer Simon Kinberg didn’t want to work with him again after the Fantastic Four reboot. This resulted in Trank getting booted.

It’s a nice balance for the spin-off films, since the first will focus on the Rebels, and the second will focus on a bounty hunter.

Would you like to see Boba Fett star in his own solo movie? Sound off below!
