Ubisoft currently working on Watch Dogs 2?

Watch Dogs was a highly anticipated title from Ubisoft that featured hacking, shooting, and an open world city of Chicago. When it was released, many gamers felt disappointed, since the game’s graphics weren’t on par with the impressive E3 premiere demo trailer. It’s not a surprise that we would be getting a sequel, since the game did sell well. Thanks to a Ubisoft senior gameplay programmer’s LinkedIn profile, we see that Watch Dogs 2 is a game under his projects list. One would assume that Ubisoft is currently working on the sequel.

Julien Risse, the programmer from Ubisoft in Paris, has recently removed the game from his profile. However, here is the cached image.

VideoGamer was able to take a screenshot of Risse’s profile containing Watch Dogs 2 before it was taken out.

Ubisoft knows aboutWatch Dogs being underwhelming, and they are working on making the sequel better, according to Lionel Raynaud, vice president of creative at Ubisoft Montreal (via GamesRadar).

“This is quite a high ambition and will require us to develop technologies that we didn’t have for Watch Dogs, but this combined with fixing and refining what worked well is probably the way to go for Watch Dogs 2,” Raynaud said previously..
