Experience eargasms with Golden State Pops Orchestra’s Superhero Soundtracks concert

Have you ever sat down watching films like The Dark Knight or The Avengers, and thought to yourself how great the orchestral soundtrack was? I know I have many times, as well as listen to many of those on a regular basis. Amazing composers like Hans Zimmer, John Williams and James Horner all create phenomenal compositions that immerse you into the films they were scored for. Well if you happen to live in the Southern California area, the Golden State Pops Orchestra has something in store for you.

On April 18th, they’re hosting a concert called Superhero Soundtracks at the Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro. The concert will feature music from such superhero films as The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men: Days of Future Past and more. I’m more than ecstatic at this and can’t wait to check it out myself. I think the pieces I’m most excited to hear live are from The Dark Knight Trilogy as well as Danny Elfman’s Batman theme. You can check out the full lineup, as well as purchase tickets on their official website.
