The cast of Twin Peaks wants David Lynch back

Ahhh, Twin Peaks, the show that inspired video games like Silent Hill and Alan Wake. David Lynch, co-creator of the show, was working on new episodes for Showtime; however, things went sour once Lynch stepped out due to budgeting issues. Even with him out, the network may still continue with production.

Fans haven’t been happy about the news, and they aren’t the only ones upset. The cast of the original series has released videos to let Showtime know how they feel. This is probably a response to Lynch announcing that he would call the actors about him not directing the project.

From the YouTube video description:

1st Actor is Sheryl Lee, playing Laura Palmer & Maddy Ferguson, 2nd is Dana Ashbrook — playing Bobby Briggs, 3rd actor is Sherilyn Fenn who was playing Audrey Horne (guess she is with her son); 4th is Mädchen Amick (Shelly Johnson), 5th is Peggy Lipton (Norma Jennings), 6th James Marshall (James Hurley), 7th Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran), 8th Gary Hershberger (Mike Nelson), 9th Catherine E. Coulson (The Log Lady), 10th — Wendy Robie (Nadine Hurley) 11th Al Strobel (MIKE), 12th is Jennifer Chambers Lynch, who wrote the book ”The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer”, she is also the daughter of David Lynch.
