The Marvel Studios films are known to have surprises after the end credits of its movies. We’ve seen this with Iron Man all the way up to Guardians of the Galaxy. (Not all had post-credits scenes.) Now we have news that may disappoint fans watching Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.

During an interview with EW, director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige have revealed that there will be no post-credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron.

This was in response to the shawarma post-credits scene for The Avengers.

“We all came at it separately—we don’t want to chase that,” Whedon says. “That was a jewel and a weird little quirk.”

However, just because we get no post-credits scene doesn’t mean we won’t be getting a surprise near the end credits.

“There will be a tag,” Feige said. “But there’s not a post-post-credit scene.”

There will be a short scene mid-credits.

“There is nothing at the very end. And that’s not a fake-out,” Whedon says. “We want people to know so they don’t sit there for 10 minutes and then go: ‘Son of a b****! I’ll kill them!’”

There were rumors of Captain Marvel appearing in the film, but Feige has confirmed that she won’t be in it. Her solo movie will come out on November 2, 2018.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
