Seth Green and the WWE Network bring you Camp WWE

camp wweThe WWE Network will be bringing eight new shows of original content this year, and one of those shows will be a short-form comedy series in collaboration with Seth Green.

Seth Green’s Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (SBS) will be putting together WWE Superstars, Divas, and even Mr. McMahon in a new original, animated comedy series entitled Camp WWE. Stoopid Buddy Stoodios is promising a full-body splash of “shock value, slapstick humor and social satire.” Camp WWE is being aimed at adults and you’ll be able to see it later in the year. Seth Green is no stranger to the WWE, as he’s featured a few smackdown-type events on his popular show, Robot Chicken. He has even hosted WWE Raw back in 2010 and was caught in the ring during a six-man tag match.

For the much younger WWE fans, the network will also be re-airing the popular ’80s animated series and Saturday morning sample, Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling. If cartoons and comedy aren’t your thing, then maybe you just need some Jerry Springer with your WWE. Starting in April, Jerry Springer will have his own show, Jerry Springer Presents WWE Too Hot for TV. The show will air the most outrageous stunts and cringe-worthy moments from WWE history. Jerry Springer had this to say about the new show:

“I suspect 25 years of The Jerry Springer Show qualifies me to comment on outrageous behavior.” He continued, “And what is more outrageous than the entertainment, drama and craziness of the WWE. This is going to be fun.”
