New Assassin’s Creed games to take place in China, Russia and India
The Assassin’s Creed franchise has mostly been a Western affair. Players have been to places like Italy, America, France, and the Caribbean Islands. Pretty soon they’ll get to explore new areas like China, Russia and India. It sounds interesting, but the bad news is that these won’t be for the main Assassin’s Creed games. That honor goes to the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game taking place in Victorian London.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is a 2.5D side-scrolling trilogy that follows three famous Assassins from China, India and Russia. China is the first chronicle and will be out on April 21st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. India and Russia follow after China.
In China, players will play as Shao Jun (who appeared in Assassin’s Creed Embers with Ezio) during the Ming dynasty’s downfall. In India, players will control Arbaaz Mir during the Sikh Empire’s plans for war. In Russia, players get to be Nikolaï Orelov during the aftermath of the Red October revolution.
The games will be developed by Climax Studios, with help from Ubisoft Montreal, with each costing $9.99.
