Avengers: Infinity War – Part I directors and roster

It’s been rumored that Joe and Anthony Russo are going to be directing Avengers: Infinity War – Part I. Now Badass Digest‘s source is saying that the brothers have closed the deal and will indeed be helming the big project. But before that, the brothers will need to do Captain America: Civil War.

Joss Whedon has expressed that he would like to move on from the Marvel films, so that he can focus on his own created projects. The Russo brothers have signed a deal with Sony, thus leading one to think they’ll be involved in the next Spider-Man reboot somehow.

So who’s going to be in the roster for the Avengers team in Infinity War – Part I? According to The India Times, we’ll be getting a core team featuring Falcon, Scarlet Witch, The Vision and War Machine. Leading the team will be Captain America and Black Widow. What about Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor and many others? It’s rumored that they may be dead, missing or retired.

Avengers: Infinity War – Part I is scheduled to release on May 4, 2018.
