Here are the Oscar 2015 winners
The results are in and the winners have been crowned! After a great year in film, Birdman came out on top at the 87th Annual Academy Awards. Sadly, this critic predicted that honor would go to Boyhood, but the winner certainly deserved it. And I’m quite happy to say that I was 14 for 19 in my predictions. (Here’s the proof.) But enough bragging, here are the snubs, surprises and complete list of winners:
SNUBS AND SURPRISES
To be honest, there weren’t that many surprises this year. I really thought Boyhood, its director Richard Linklater and the resurrected Michael Keaton would earn awards, but the people who won in their place were definitely worthy, if not deserving, of the awards. The only two snubs I can think of are the mesmerizing score from Interstellar losing out as well as the adorable and touching animated short film, The Dam Keeper. The 18 minute short actually made me shed a few tears. I suppose little pigs can do that.
And here are your winners…
